ennessee Titans (9-7; 8-7-1 ATS; 9-7 O/U) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (10-6; 10-6 ATS; 8-8 O/U)

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Wildcard round late Saturday afternoon from Arrowhead Stadium. The Titans defeated the Jaguars 15-10 last week to finish as the fifth seed with a 9-7 record, and the Chiefs edged the Broncos 27-24 in their final regular season game and won the AFC West with a 10-6 record. The Titans edged the Chiefs by a 19-17 score last season.

Titans Defeat Jaguars to Secure Playoff Birth
The Tennessee Titans are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2008 after they recorded a solid 15-10 home win over the Jaguars last week behind a tremendous defensive effort. The Titans did come up with some big wins this season, defeating the Jaguars twice and they also beat the Seahawks. Marcus Mariota did not have a strong season, recording only 3232 passing yards with a 13:15 TD to INT ratio, and he added 312 rushing yards. The Titans running game is their greatest strength offensively led by Derrick Henry. The 23-year old running back finished the year with 744 rushing yards and averaged a terrific 4.2 yards per carry. DeMarco Murray sat out last week with a knee injury, and he is questionable for this contest. Delanie Walker led the Titans with 807 receiving yards. The veteran tight-end was quiet down the final stretch of the season, amassing only 89 yards in his final three games. The Titans offense was inconsistent this season, and are averaging 20.9 points, placing them 19th in the NFL.

The Titans defense came up huge in their 15-10 win over the Jaguars last week, allowing only 229 total yards. They will need a similar performance in this matchup against a powerful Chiefs offense. Tennessee owns the fourth-ranked rush defense in the NFL, however, they will give up yards in the air, and are conceding an average of 22.2 points, placing them 17th overall. The Titans snapped a three game losing streak in their week 17 win.
